According to reports, Tesla has been ordered to recall around 1.1 million cars in the U.S.

The recall is due to safety issues with the electric windows in the car.

The problem is with Windows’ obstruction recognition system, which detects objects such as a child’s fingers that might get caught.

The recall is for multiple models made in the years 2017–2022.

Model 3 - 2017-22, Model Y – 2020-21, Model S and Model X - 2021-22.

Model 3 - As per Reuters, as per its communication to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the car maker will try and solve the issue via software update. -22, Model Y – 2020-21, Model S and Model X - 2021-22.
